In Super Mario, you play as the red and blue-clad Italian plumber named Mario. Mario is on a quest to save Princess Peach, who has been captured by the evil and maniacal Bowser, who resembles a large yellow dinosaur with a green shell. As you make your way through the world, you will have to avoid and defeat various enemies that throw themselves at you.
You can find different power-ups littered throughout the world that will help you get past the more difficult enemies. They can make Mario bigger, which allows him to stomp on larger enemies, or they even allow him to shoot deadly blasts of fire, which can help take out faster, more dangerous enemies.
The game is won when Mario successfully rescues Princess Peach from Bowser’s castle. However, know this – everything is not always as it seems…
