This is a classic arcade game that everyone is familiar with, unless you’ve been living under a rock, of course. Pac-Man involves 5 characters: Inky, the cyan ghost; Blinky, the red ghost; Pinky, the pink ghost; Clyde, the orange ghost; and you, who plays as Pac-Man. You are all trapped in a blue, maze-like structure with two side passages that lead to one another.
The goal is simple – Pac-Man must eat all of the dots in the maze. Once he does, he wins the round and can move on to the next. The goal of the ghosts is to catch Pac-Man before he can eat all of the dots. If they touch him, he loses a life. Once all three lives are gone, the game is over.
There are four Big Dots scattered around the maze. When Pac-Man eats one of these Big Dots, he powers up and is able to eat the ghosts. The ghosts turn blue with fear, and they quickly try to make their way back to their starting point. If Pac-Man eats a ghost while under the effects of a Big Dot, the ghost will vanish, and their eyes will zoom back to their starting point.
